Bubble Rush is back! And we need YOUR help!

Raising Money And Awareness For Helen And Douglas House

Bubble Rush is back, and we could not be more excited! Some of our wonderful team at Snakes and Ladders in Abingdon are once again lacing up their trainers to take part in the Bubble Rush Event on 14th September 2025 in Oxfordshire. After the amazing time we had last year, we’re thrilled to be returning for a second year in support of this truly incredible cause — and we need YOUR help to raise as much as possible for Helen & Douglas House.

This colourful, family-friendly 5k promises fun for everyone, whether you’re running, jogging, or walking through the walls of bright, foamy bubbles. It’s a joyful day out that not only brings smiles to everyone taking part but also raises vital funds for children living with life-limiting conditions and the families who care for them.

This year, we’re taking things a step further by sponsoring 5 families to join us on the day, giving them the chance to share in the laughter, energy, and spirit of the event. Snakes and Ladders are incredibly proud to support Helen & Douglas House Children’s Hospice and everything they stand for. Based in Oxfordshire, they provide specialist hospice care for babies, children, and young people with life-limiting and terminal conditions. Their care extends beyond the children themselves, offering families essential support at one of the most difficult times imaginable.

Helen and Douglas House is more than a hospice — it is a safe and homely environment where children can receive specialist care in comfort, while their families are surrounded with compassion and understanding. The hospice is filled with love, laughter, and joy, creating moments of happiness even during the hardest times. Families are given the chance to make lasting, treasured memories together, whether they have days, months, or years left.
