Fundraising for Helen & Douglas House

Some of our wonderful Snakes and Ladders Abingdon team are gearing up to take part in the Bubble Rush Event on 15th September 2024 in Oxfordshire, fundraising for Helen & Douglas House – and we need YOUR support to raise as much money as possible for this truly special cause.

Bubble Rush is no ordinary 5k run. It’s a vibrant, family-friendly event filled with colour, foam, and laughter! Participants run, jog, or walk their way through mountains of multi-coloured bubbles, creating an incredible atmosphere that’s as fun to take part in as it is to watch. While our team enjoys the excitement of racing through walls of foamy bubbles, their real motivation is to make a difference for children and families supported by Helen & Douglas House.

Every pound raised will go directly to helping this extraordinary children’s hospice. Helen & Douglas House provides vital hospice care for babies and children with life-limiting and terminal conditions across Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties. Their incredible work allows families facing the most difficult of circumstances to find comfort, support, and precious moments of joy.

This isn’t just about medical care – Helen and Douglas House is a lifeline. Families receive respite and compassionate support in a warm, homely environment where their children can live with dignity, surrounded by love. The hospice is filled with laughter, play, and fun activities for the children, while also being a peaceful sanctuary where families can spend invaluable time together, creating memories that will last forever.
