Finalist for the AIP Employee Spotlight Award!

We were recently honoured to attend the AIP (Association of Indoor Play) Awards, a prestigious event that celebrates excellence within the indoor play industry. It was a proud moment for our whole team as our incredible Brentford manager, Katya, was recognised as a finalist in the Employee Spotlight Award category.

This award shines a light on those exceptional team members who consistently go above and beyond to deliver excellence in their role. Katya is the very definition of this recognition. Every single day she demonstrates outstanding dedication, professionalism, and creativity in the way she leads her team and supports both colleagues and customers.

Katya joined the Snakes & Ladders family in 2022, bringing with her a wealth of expertise from her career as a business trainer in Ukraine. Right from the start, she applied her skills to develop and deliver bespoke training programmes tailored specifically to our team across all three of our sites. These sessions placed a strong focus on customer service and leadership, offering staff the chance to reflect on our core values, enhance their skills, and help shape the creation of our very own team manifesto. This was a turning point for our centres, strengthening not only the way we work together but also the quality of the experience we deliver to every family who visits us.

In addition to her group training sessions, Katya also brings her skills as a UK-certified executive coach to the table. She has delivered one-to-one coaching for members of our team, helping them to develop personally and professionally. These sessions have proven to be hugely beneficial, encouraging team members to grow in confidence, embrace new challenges, and develop leadership qualities of their own. Katya’s commitment to supporting and empowering her colleagues has had a lasting and positive impact across our organisation.

We could not be more proud to see her recognised at the AIP Awards. Being named a finalist in such a competitive category is a true testament to the dedication and value she brings, not only to Snakes & Ladders but to the wider indoor play industry as well.
